A Senior Auditor is expected to work in a team-focused environment to ensure work is completed timely and accurately. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Assisting the managers and partners with all aspects of the audit engagement, including planning, risk assessment, conducting fieldwork, communicating and coordinating with the client, and preparing financial statements.Demonstrating competency in technical skills, work quality and application of professional and firm standards.Researching and analyzing accounting and auditing concepts.Serving in a leadership and supervisory capacity over audit staff.Participating in strategic planning goals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldCPA license or working toward obtaining licenseTwo or more years of public accounting audit experienceStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to be effective and efficient in both team and individual capacitiesA team player mentality with a positive, can-do attitudeProactive and motivated individual who takes initiative for professional growthProficient with Microsoft OfficeMust be able to work overtime as neededAble to travel out of town, with occasional overnight staysMust be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hireHave a valid driver's licenseHave personal vehicle for client commute (the job requires in/out of town client commutes where a reliable vehicle is needed)Have current auto insurance policy with at least minimum requirements for CaliforniaInterested in hearing more?
