Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A virtual opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to serve K-12 students within California. This contract role extends through the remainder of the school year, offering a caseload primarily focused on preschool and early elementary students. The position involves providing teletherapy services including assessments, direct speech therapy, and participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Deliver teletherapy sessions to students, including preschool and TK-2nd grade caseloads Collaborate in IEP meetings to develop and update individualized plans Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Manage caseloads of approximately 25 students, with an emphasis on speech-only cases Qualifications and Experience: Valid Speech Language Pathologist credential with teletherapy experience Demonstrated ability to supervise SLPAs effectively Experience conducting high-priority assessments and active participation in IEP meetings Recent work history with a California school district using the Special Education Information System (SEIS), supported by a professional reference Ability to manage a caseload of young learners, focusing on early childhood speech services Location: Virtual, serving California students with a primary base in Fresno, CA The role offers a flexible schedule with approximately 25 hours per week, focusing on direct and indirect services to support student communication needs.
