We're looking for Surgical Techs to join our growing and dynamic team! From preparing and turning over one of our 26 operating rooms, to scrubbing in and assisting the surgeon, you will have constant room for development in your specialty as a member of our team. As a center of excellence for robotics, hernia, orthopedic and bariatric surgery, you will be able to provide core assistance for a variety of surgical cases, including a variety of other service lines such as ENT, OB-GYN, urology and more!In your role, you will:--- Gather and prepare instruments, equipment, medications and supplies for each case and according to doctors' preference cards.--- Establish and maintain sterile field and surgical aseptic technique.--- Assist in transporting and preparing the patient for surgical procedure (i.e. shaving, positioning and draping).--- Perform first scrub functions and procedures in the majority of surgical procedures performed at the facility.--- Assist the surgeon and surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, medications and/or supplies as appropriate.Community Health System Job ID #2023-39040-2.About Community Health SystemWe got our start 125 years ago as a boarding house and medical facility for people traveling in Central California.
