Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff \n Adventist Health is seeking a motivated speech language pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Reedley/Selma, CA where you will evaluate and treat patients on our swing bed unit as well as on the medical/surgical units. The main responsibility of this position will be to deliver speech language pathology services to our swing bed patients in Reedley to facilitate their recovery and return of each patient back to their home environment. The swing bed unit operates similarly to a short-term rehab facility but is located in our Adventist Health Reedley hospital. This position will also provide intermittent coverage at our Hanford and Tulare hospitals. Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment. Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Supervises assistants and support staff.
