In this role you’ll have the opportunity to provide high-quality imaging services to our patients. With leading-edge digital medical imaging technology, you will be working with highly trained staff and board-certified radiologists. You will be responsible for operating advanced MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images, ensuring patient safety, and upholding MRI safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player, skilled in-patient interaction, and passionate about providing excellent care. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect when working with us: - We are the only facility within our three-network hospitals that provides MRI under anesthesia and performs cardiac MRI studies. - Our Advanced Imaging Services at CRMC is the only facility in the Central Valley offering MRI Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LiTT)—a revolutionary, minimally invasive treatment that enhances precision, speeds up recovery, and improves patient outcomes. - With approximately 1,052 scans performed monthly, our fast-paced environment ensures that you'll stay engaged, challenged, and continuously learning. - We are equipped with state-of-the-art MRI scanners, including Toshiba and GE (General Electric) systems. (Experience with these systems is preferred, but we provide training for highly qualified candidates looking to expand their skills.) - Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality, detailed diagnostic images. - Guide and comfort patients throughout the procedure, ensuring they understand the process. - Enforce MRI safety protocols to maintain a secure environment within designated MRI Safety Zones. - Act as a primary resource for patients and staff, fostering a supportive and efficient imaging experience. - Mentor and train students, sharing knowledge and expertise. Desirable Skills: - Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams. - Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. /n/nQualifications:/n MINIMUM REQUIRED: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent MRI Technology program. 2 years experience as a Magnetic Resonance Technologist. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Current BLS certification.
