Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An onsite Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a part-time position serving a K-12 school environment in North Fork, California. This role offers a full-semester contract, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student health and well-being. Location: - North Fork, CA, near Fresno in the Oakhurst area Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse school-aged population - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Conduct health assessments and screenings - Manage health records and documentation - Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health - Provide first aid and emergency care as needed - Support health education initiatives within the school setting Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license - Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team - Current CPR and First Aid certification Schedule: - Part-time, approximately 16 hours per week over 2 days - Full-time availability at 40 hours per week is a plus and may involve additional duties Benefits: - Gain valuable experience in educational healthcare - Opportunity to work in a supportive school environment - Contribution to student health outcomes and safety This contract position for a full semester provides flexible scheduling and a professional setting suited to RNs with a passion for working in school healthcare.
