This role plays a vital part in supporting maternal health services and ensuring safe, high-quality care for mothers and newborns. Required Skills: Valid and active medical license in California Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB experience Proven experience in labor and delivery, including managing emergent gynecological cases Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment Nice to Have Skills: NICU Level III experience and knowledge Experience working within a hospitalist or pseudo-laborist model Familiarity with community-based OB practices Ability to handle emergent gynecological responsibilities effectively Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist or labor and delivery experience Prior experience working with residency programs, preferably Family Medicine Other Requirements: Availability to start on 12/31/2025 Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment with local providers Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care Travel and licensure expenses covered when applicable This is your opportunity to bring your expertise to a supportive environment while enjoying competitive pay at $234/hour.
