Job Title: Culinary Specialist The culinary specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the well-being of soldiers by providing nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. Preparation & Cooking: The culinary specialist will learn various cooking techniques to prepare different types of dishes, including soups, salads, and entrees. They will also be responsible for ordering food supplies and inspecting them for quality and safety. Culinary specialists must maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining experience for all personnel. This includes adhering to proper food handling procedures, cleaning equipment regularly, and disposing of waste properly.
