Responsibilities:Oversee and assist in weekly union payroll process
in a timely and accurate mannerReview payroll documentation for
accuracy through audit reports and make any necessary
adjustmentsWork closely with Human Resources and Accounting on all
payroll related issuesReview and compute wages, and correct errors
to ensure the accuracy of earnings and that all changes to payroll
are processed correctlyMaintain accurate payroll records and
employee payroll filesEnsure accuracy of fringe benefit
contributionsReview and audit master file and pay data entries, YTD
totals, and file amendmentsPrepare various payroll and management
reports, journal entries, workers compensation, and reconcile
quarterly payroll taxesOversee accuracy of all garnishments,
deductions, and vacation/sick accrualsReconcile payroll bank
statements and review the accuracy of payroll deductions to payroll
output documentsRespond to employee inquiries and requests
regarding payroll mattersMaintain client confidence and protects
operations by keeping information confidentialCertify payrollManage
direct reportsPerforms other related duties as required and
assignedQualificationsRequiredBachelor's Degree PreferredUnion
payroll experience required5+ years as a Union payroll
specialistGood working knowledge of CBA rules, regulations, and
prevailing wagesAbility to maintain a high degree of
confidentialityAbility to multi-task and work in high pressure
environmentStrong organizational skills and very detail
orientedPreferredConstruction industry experience highly
preferredin house payroll processing preferredKnowledge and
experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Dragados USA Inc.,
