• Multi-entity business that is rapidly growingJob DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Construction Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. As a Construction Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of construction projects, including project and job costing, cost centers, and other financial analysis. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting.Responsibilities:
  • Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including project and job costing, cost centers, and other financial analysis
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable for construction projects
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations for construction projects
  • Provide financial analysis and support to project managers and other stakeholders
  • Manage cash flow and financial risk for construction projects
  • Work with other members of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingQualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred, however, not required for consideration
    • Strong knowledge of project and job costing, cost centers, and other financial analysis techniques
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
    • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and standards
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
    • QuickBooks experience is required for consideration.
